Baptist Community Services announced Thursday that Dyron Howell, Vice President of BCS overseeing Snack Pak 4 Kids®, has shared his plans to retire effective January 2, 2027, following more than eight years of service. Howell, who founded Snack Pak 4 Kids® with his wife, Kelly, has dedicated much of his career to addressing food insecurity among children throughout the Texas Panhandle and beyond. Since 2010, Snack Pak 4 Kids® has expanded from serving 10 students at Will Rogers Elementary School to a network of more than 120 programs serving students in over 50 schools across Texas.
BCS, which is the parent organization of Snack Pak 4 Kids®, has named Brad Duggan Vice President of Community Development to oversee Snack Pak 4 Kids as Executive Director.
Duggan will join BCS on November 30, 2026, allowing him to work alongside Howell during a planned transition period. Duggan was most recently with the Coffee Memorial Blood Center.
